Community Connection Projects CIC is a not for profit company set up in 2014 to undertake land and river management projects in Watford. Projects are updated regulaly using facebook pages see:

 

Projects

Projects include the installation of a litter boom accross the river Colne in Oxhey Park, over 1400 mans days works in Oxhey Park and Paddock Raod Allotments with the DWP's Community Work Programme. River work in Watford with numerous community groups, schools and organisations, amenity improvement works in Oxhey Park, Riverside and Lairage Land, invasive species control, habitat improvement, river fly and outfall monitoring.

Sandy is the MD of CCP and has worked with numerous other groups and organisations including Watford Borough Council, Herts County Council, The Ver Valley Society, Community Payback, SEETEC, The Community Work Program, HACRO, the Canal and Rivers Trust, Friends of Attenborough Fields, Freinds of Croxley Common Moor, The Wild Trout Trust, The Green Gym, The Riverfly Partnership, Oxhey Woods Conservation Volunteers, Thames 21, The Wandle Trust, The Environment Agency, The Countryside Management Service and Richard Harrington, the YMCA, West Herts College, The Colne Valley Angling Consultative, Tesco and Santander
